When pre-school children are promoted to primary schools, they have to find their feet amid the challenges of new schoolmates, a new mode of studying and a sophisticated learning environment. Some students might have difficulties in expressing themselves, giving rise to social interaction problems and an adverse impact on their academic performances. In view of this, a seminar will be held on 14 August 2010 to help parents and teachers understand more of the problems that disturb those students and strengthen children’s social skills in the hope that they could better integrate into schools.
Parents and teachers of junior primary students at mainstream schools are welcome to join us. For details and the application form, please click here (Chinese version only)
