Head of Corporate Development

Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Administration)
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan that encompasses both branding and fundraising initiatives, aimed at elevating organizational awareness
  • Implement established initiatives and introduce new ideas and creative approach to secure sponsorship and donations from the corporate donors, sponsors, other stakeholders ensuring timely and appropriate communication to nurture long-term relationships and support
  • Drive and enhance the cost effectiveness of the monthly donation program from the public, being an important source of funds to support our non-subvented services
  • Work closely with Service Team to explore and apply funding from government, foundations and community grants to support specific non-subvented projects and programs
  • Design, organize and implement major fundraising events to boost brand awareness and generate funds.
  • Lead, motivate, supervise and develop departmental staff to achieve the strategic plan
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned
Qualifications

Requirements:

Education:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communication or related discipline

Experience:

  • Possessing over eight years of experience in marketing and communications, with at least five of those years in a leadership capacity at a major corporation. A fast learner and can seamlessly adapt to non-commercial entities and their unique environments

Others:

  • Solid exposure in branding, fundraising and strong network in corporate partnership
  • Proven track record in digital fundraising, large scale fundraising programs and donors management
  • Ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships with donors, corporate partners, and other key stakeholders within or outside the organization
  • Energetic, proactive, resourceful, and a strategic thinker
  • Strong leadership and ability to develop, coach and inspire team for success
  • Excellent communication skill and fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
