Our 2009 Annual General Meeting cum Annual Dinner was successfully held on 4 December 2009 (Friday). Officiated by Mr Stephen Sui, Commissioner for Rehabilitation of the Labour and Welfare Bureau, The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the evening was a joyous get-together for nearly 600 committee members, representatives from the Social Welfare Department, partners, friends from the social services sector and colleagues.
The Chairman of the Society, Dr Henry Au Yeung, and Director, Ms Nancy Tsang, reported on the Society's activities for the year 2008-09. In addition, a total of 13 members for the 2009-10 Executive Committee were elected as follows:

At the meeting, Dr Wong Chan Pik Yuen resigned as the Society’s Executive Committee Member after having served on the Committee for years. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Wong for her contribution to the Society.
Dr Au Yeung also expressed his gratitude to the community for its staunch support and all colleagues for their hard work, which helped enhance the services of Heep Hong. In addition, some awards were presented to individual staff members to acknowledge their outstanding performance in the past year.
