Echoing the Autism Awareness Week in April, issue 57 of Heep Hong Express discusses the independent living skills needed for young people with ASD under the theme “Away from Home Comfort, Striving for Independence”. With comics from illustrator Dustykid, we introduce several tips on how to strengthen children’s resilience from the SENSOR – Training Group for SEN Students. For the interview, we invite three parents of Heep Hong Society to share their experiences in raising SEN children, as well as their views on how SEN services and public attitude have changed.
