While most children will gradually pick up language learning skills, such as listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, at different developmental stages, some children might not be able to tell the exact name of objects or colours, mix up homonyms, have a slow pace of writing, miss strokes, and find it hard to recognize and memorise vocabulary in their course of development.
In fact, there are many factors affecting the development of a child’s language skills. To help parents understand and enhance the development of their children's language learning skills, a series of seminars will be held by Heep Hong Society for parents during November-December 2013.
