The Physiotherapists team of Heep Hong Society developed the Social Motor Function Classification System for Autism Spectrum Disorder (SMFCS-ASD) to facilitate the Physiotherapy management for children with ASD throughout the spectrum with parallel social-motor developmental approach. Followed by recent collaboration with Dr Tamis Pin of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in a validation study provided promising research evidence for clinical use of the SMFCS-ASD. It is our pleasure to organise a 2-hour webinar sharing our research findings and introducing this classification system with local Paediatric Physiotherapy clinicians.
